条約について気になること
以下調べてみたことを記述いたします。
条約（じょうやく）とは、国際法上で国家間（国際連合等の国際機関も締結主体となり得る）で結ばれる成文法のことである。日本国においては、国家が同意しているものは、公布され、日本国内では法律より優先する（憲法第98条2項による。ただし憲法には劣る）。
国家間などで結ばれる個別の成文法には、狭義の条約（treaty、convention、例：生物多様性条約 ）以外に、憲章（charter、例：国際連合憲章）、協定（agreement、例：WTO設立協定）、議定書（protocol、例：京都議定書）等の様々な名称を持つものがある。これらは法的拘束力において相違はないが、慣習によって使い分けられているもので、例えば、議定書は一般に既存の条約を補完する条約に用いられる（例：気候変動枠組条約に対する京都議定書）。
